Shamrockin St. Charles is an 8k that will take place at Pottawatomie Park. Come race and have fun!
Come dressed in your Irish best! The 8k racecourse starts at the top of the hill in Pottawatomie Park and finishes at the Historic Pavilion. Runners will travel along the Fox River for amazing views of nature with the early signs of Spring.
For anyone that wants to come for a shorter run, there is also a 1-mile Family Fun Walk!
This course starts at "The Top of The Hill" at Pottawatomie Park....then continues along the Fox River Trail heading north....turning around at Red Gate Road (approximately) then coming back south to the park, descending the hill, and finishing at the Pottawatomie Park Pavilion on the river side!
With registration for the event, you'll get: A scenic run/walk course along the Fox River, A commemorative stocking hat, One event specific glass, One free beer or non-alcoholic drink at our post-race host venue, Live Music and Giveaways.
