The premier road race in downstate Illinois returns for another unforgettable year! Drawing runners and spectators from across the region, the Shoreline Classic blends competition, recreation, and community spirit—all while celebrating the power of a healthy lifestyle.
Festivities begin with the always-adorable Tot Trot, perfect for getting our youngest runners excited and involved. Then, take on the challenge of the USATF-certified 15K or speed through the 5K run/walk, both set along the beautiful shores of Lake Decatur in the heart of fall color. The 5K offers a fast, flat course ideal for setting personal bests, while the 15K features scenic rolling hills for those looking to go the distance.
Whether you’re chasing a new PR, enjoying a walk with friends, or cheering on little ones in the Tot Trot, the Shoreline Classic is a celebration of fitness, family, and fall fun in Decatur!
