National, regional and local performers take the stage at the Effingham Performance Center! The EPC, a non-for-profit theater, hosts a wide variety of programs each year on the impressive Rosebud Stage.
The Coasters married comedy with craftsmanship and set it to a doo-wop beat, establishing them as one of the most memorable and unique groups of the 50s. The Coasters bridged the gap between the doo-wop and R&B eras with hits like "Searchin'," "Yakety Yak," "Charlie Brown," and " Poison Ivy".
