Enjoy an afternoon of ukulele music with the Wild Blue Ukulele Orchestra at the Oregon Coliseum on Sept. 14.
The Coliseum Museum of Art, Antiques & Americana (CMAAA) in Oregon hosts the Wild Blue Ukulele Orchestra on Sunday, September 14, from 3 to 5 p.m. Doors open at 2 p.m.
This lively afternoon concert showcases the full range of ukuleles—from the bright soprano to the deep UBass—through fully orchestrated arrangements that span genres and decades. Audiences can expect an engaging performance highlighting just how versatile this small but mighty instrument can be.
The orchestra is led by John Lindhorst, a longtime musician, teacher, and owner of Ukulele Station America and the new Oregon Music Garage. With more than 40 years of experience performing and teaching in Illinois, Hawaii, and California, John now shares his love of music back in Oregon, the community he calls home.
