Visitors to World War II Days engage in elaborate 1940s displays in historical buildings on the museum’s 148-acre campus, which becomes the backdrop of a European village during World War II.
Experience one of the largest World War II reenactments in the Midwest at Midway Village Museum in Rockford. World War II Days transforms the museum’s 148-acre campus with historic encampments, narrated battle reenactments, tanks, military vehicles, artillery and pyrotechnics. Enjoy living-history demonstrations, woods skirmishes, 1940s-era music, educational lectures, military displays and more throughout this immersive two-day event.
