Free family activities are planned for all ages, from Santa handing out books to children at the Butterworth Education Center to cookies and punch for all visitors in the elegant Butterworth Center dining room. Enjoy choral and instrumental performances throughout the day. Both homes will be beautifully decorated in Victorian, holiday style.  Along with make-and-take crafts and tours of the homes.

The Deere-Wiman House was originally built for John Deere's son, Charles, who became the second president of Deere & Compay. The Butterworth Center mansion was the home of William Butterworth, the company's third president.  Both homes feature beautiful exteriors, interiors, and lovely gardens.The homes are located on a bluff area overlooking downtown Moline.
