The Cedarhurst Art & Craft Fair, a southern Illinois tradition, is celebrating its 47th year! Join us the weekend after Labor Day (Sept. 8-9-10) on the picturesque grounds at Cedarhurst Center for the Arts where the Fair attracts approximately 5 to 7,000 visitors. Our Fair is supported by the City of Mt. Vernon, the Mt. Vernon Convention / Tourism Bureau, plus regional, enthusiastic communities. We invite you to be a part of the weekend festival as we celebrate the finest in American hand-made craftsmanship. $5 General Admission. Friday evening – 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday – 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Pay-to-park on/near the campus. Free General Admission Sunday – 10 am to 5 p.m. Pay-to-park on/near the campus.
Enjoy food concessions and support local restaurants and civic groups! Refreshing (non-alcoholic) drinks and adult beverages including regional craft brews from Baum’s Brauhaus can be enjoyed throughout the weekend. The entertainment area will feature regional musicians Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The Kids’ Area is gearing up to feature make-and-take crafts and family-friendly performances. Cedarhurst Affinity Groups will present artist demonstrations throughout the weekend. Pay-to-Park lots are available on the museum grounds as well as properties adjacent to Cedarhurst.
