The Chicago Steel Hockey Team, who will play their inaugural season at USG Arena inside Blackhawks Ice Center in Chicago, IL this fall, are a top junior hockey team in the USHL.
Known for affordable, family-friendly entertainment and developing future NCAA and NHL stars. With a strong focus on community engagement and a loyal fan base, the Chicago Steel offers an exciting and competitive hockey experience at USG Arena.
Established in 2000, the team has evolved into a powerhouse within the United States Hockey League (USHL), a Tier 1 junior hockey league, renowned for its commitment to player development and excellence on the ice. Known as the "Dopest non-NHL franchise," the Steel have achieved numerous accolades, including multiple Clark Cup championships (2017 and 2021) and Anderson Cup titles (2020 and 2021) for regular season dominance. Over 300 Steel alumni have gone on to play at the NCAA Division I level, and 62 have been drafted by NHL teams, highlighting the team's role as a vital stepping stone for aspiring hockey professionals.
