The Fluorspar Festival is a proud county tradition celebrating our rich fluorspar heritage. Each year, it serves as a reminder that our greatest resource is not just what comes from the ground - but the people who call this place home.
The festival starts on Friday with a Pet Parade, Bike Parade, Glow-in-the-Dark events, and a Festival Photo Contest
Saturday will feature over 37 vendors, gospel music in the morning, parade, historical fluorspar mining lecture, fluorite mine dig pile, car/truck/motorcycle show, must-see live music performances, Bandy’s Power wheel derby, demonstrations, face painting, and more
Sunday enjoy a Sound bath experience in the riverside park with Girl Gong Wild, guided hike with Hiking with Shawn, and a “Walk with God” community event along the Ohio river.
