Celebrating Galesburg's rich railroad history, Railroad Days is an annual summer festival that brings a carnival, entertainment, and railroad-themed events to the heart of the city, in Downtown Galesburg.
The presence of exceptional rail facilities has greatly influenced Galesburg's development as a commercial and industrial center in Western Illinois. Galesburg salutes the railroad's contribution during the annual Galesburg Railroad Days celebration that is held every fourth weekend of June.
Galesburg Railroad Days is governed by a council that meets on a frequent basis year around to plan new and exciting attractions for our annual celebration of our railroad heritage.
