Perched high on the bluff, this Illinois Natural Heritage Landmark is home to ceremonial and burial mounds created by the Hopewell Native American Culture, offering visitors an opportunity to experience an important piece of the region’s history.
Pack a lunch and enjoy one of the park’s scenic picnic areas, fire up a charcoal grill, or explore the walking trails and historical and archaeological signage throughout the grounds.
