Courtney Reed returns to the Hemmens Stage for a concert, accompanied by the Elgin Symphony Orchestra.
Courtney Reed is best known for originating the role of ‘Princess Jasmine’ in Disney’s smash Broadway hit Aladdin, in which she received a Grammy Nomination. She was last seen on Broadway as Satine, in Moulin Rouge! The Musical, a role she originated on the first national tour.
Her Broadway debut was in Mamma Mia! Notable regional credits include ‘Andrea’ in Once on This Island at Paper Mill Playhouse, directed by Thomas Kail. On television, Courtney has appeared in Liza on Demand, Search Party, The Affair, Law & Order: SVU, White Collar, NYC 22, and CSI: NY. She is also a proud co-producer of Disney Princess the Concert, which tours globally.
The Elgin Symphony Orchestra, now in its 75th season under the leadership of new Music Director Chad Goodman, offers an unparalleled cultural experience that continues to enchant audiences of all ages year after year.
