History Comes Alive just in time for Spring Break. Look for the Lincolns as you enjoy a trip back in time. March 16-30
New in 2025, the popular History Come Alive summer program comes back for a limited-time Spring Break edition. Enjoy the following activities at many of Springfield's popular historic sites.
- Look for meet & greets with the Lincolns at various sites
- Listen to some of Abraham Lincoln's most profound speeches at the places where he gave them
- Enjoy some family fun with crafts at the Dana-Thomas House
- Learn about the Civil War on the grounds of the Old State Capitol
- Play some historical games with the Lincolns at the Lincoln Home National Historic site
There will be so much to see, do, and learn. The program runs March 16-30 and gives you a taste of what's in store for the summer program.
