Take your sweet time savoring the smells, reveling in the flavors and immersing yourself in the rich and vibrant coffee culture of the Great Rivers & Routes region during Javapalooza 2026, coming Sept. 1-Nov. 30, 2026!

Javapalooza celebrates the bean, the baristas and the people who create the beautiful, delicious coffee experiences that make our region special. From signature drinks and latte art to scavenger hunts and coffee trails, there are plenty of ways to sip, explore and discover your new favorite coffee shop.

Visitors can participate in a variety of Javapalooza activities, including:

Javapalooza Signature Drink Challenge - Visit participating coffee shops throughout the three-month celebration and try their featured signature drinks. Then, vote for your favorite!

Latte Art Competition - Regional baristas can showcase their latte art skills by submitting a photo of their work to gsakry@riversandroutes.com between Sept. 1 and Oct. 31. Public voting will take place Nov. 1-30, with the winner announced the first week of December.

Bean There, Found That Scavenger Hunt - Put your exploring skills to the test as you search participating coffee shops for their Javapalooza-themed scavenger hunts. Follow our social media pages to find out when each shop will host its scavenger hunt.
