Come and experience living history as you tour authentic buildings and listen to music.
In addition to enjoying a day of music in Southern Illinois, those in attendance are invited to explore Saline Creek Pioneer Village & Museum, 1600 S. Feazel St. Watch reenactors and demonstrations of life as it was during frontier times.
This historical pioneer village includes the original Saline County Pauper Farm, an old jail, a schoolhouse from 1859, the Cain Church, several 1800s-era log cabins, a thresher barn and a country store.
The Saline Creek Pioneer Village & Museum is a place to "see and touch memories." Located on the south side of Harrisburg. The grounds were an original 175 acres when purchased in 1863 by the county. Visit us and experience this rare location in Southern Illinois that are home to many rare and interesting buildings and cabins.
