This Army Corps of Engineers campground at Rend Lake offers 14 tent sites and 147 sites with both electric and full hook-up options. All near drinking water, a dump station, restrooms, showers, a boat ramp & a picnic shelter.
These campsites are on the shores of beautiful Rend Lake in the heart of Southern Illinois. Long term reservations are available in the Beaver Lodge and Whispering Pines loops. Covey Point offers double standard sites and Whispering Pines offers double premium sites.
Stop by the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers Rend Lake Visitor Center to pick up a copy of the Rend Lake brochure and map. America the Beautiful – The National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass Senior, Access, Military, Annual, and 4th Grader passes are available through this program and allow for free entrance and day use at Federally-managed facilities. The Senior and Access pass also provides a 50% discount on camping fees. These passes can be obtained at the Rend Lake Project Office.
