The Vault Art Gallery is an art gallery at 100 N. Main St. in downtown Tuscola, Illinois. Independent artists rent space in the gallery.The Vault hosts art-related events and offers a wide range of affordable artwork for sale, including jewelry, painting, ceramics and pottery, art glass, photography, metal art, wood art and more.
The Vault is located in a historic former bank building in downtown Tuscola and gets its name from the huge vault located behind the front counter. Downtown Tuscola is located one-half mile north of U.S. 36 and 1 mile west of Interstate 57. The gallery is 23 miles south of Champaign-Urbana, 23 miles north of Mattoon and Charleston, and 35 miles east of Decatur. We are also only 16 miles from the only Amish settlement in Illinois.
