Cruisin' Through The Century Weekend

The Cruisin’ Through the Century party weekend brings themed celebrations to each of McLean County’s Route 66 towns over a spectacular two-day event. Dance, play, and celebrate in style as each community honors a decade of road-trip culture.

• Chenoa — 1920s: A barbershop quartet, retro cars, yard games, and vintage downtown fun (Saturday, June 6 | 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.)
• Lexington — 1930s: Big band music, lawn games, a speakeasy and more at The Castle (Saturday, June 6 | 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.)
• Towanda — 1940s: A wartime home front party with a classic 3-piece band and arboretum walking tours (Saturday, June 6 | 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.)
• Normal — 1950s: Retro roadside picnic (with throwback food pricing!), live music from Union Avenue, vintage games, and roller skating (Sunday, June 7 | 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.)
• Bloomington — 1960s: Groovy party on the historic downtown square with live music from Motown Nation, food trucks, a 1960s costume contest, and an immersive light show projected on the McLean County Museum of History (Saturday, June 6 | 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.)
• Shirley/Funks Grove — 1970s: Tie-dye fun on the Funks Grove property (Sunday, June 7 | 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.)
• McLean — 1980s: Village square celebration with music from The Breakfast Club, a vendor fair, and a classic car parade (Sunday, June 7 | 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.)
