Since 1997, Festival of Trees has been the area’s highlighted fall event, providing entertainment, family fun and creative designs for all to enjoy.
The Festival of Trees is the premier community event in the Danville area. It began more than 20 years ago as a fundraiser for the hospital's community outreach programs but has grown to become our community's most anticipated event and the official kick-off to the holiday season. Each year more than 1,500 volunteers make this multi-day event a wonderful family experience.
The Festival of Trees hosts more than 15,000 visitors viewing beautiful decorated trees and wreaths. Guests can also participate in a variety of activities and entertainment and can enjoy many special events to experience the sights & sounds of the holidays. Proceeds from this year’s event will be used for ongoing renovations and upgrades to the OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center in Danville.
