"The Ralph" is home to the men's and women's soccer and outdoor track and field programs at Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville and has grown to become one of the premier facilities in the country.
Construction on Ralph Korte Stadium was completed in 1994 and first used for the U.S. Olympic Festival.
The 4,000-seat stadium has since been the site of numerous local, regional, state, national, professional, and international soccer events. The complex includes the Glen-Ed West Soccer Complex which features an additional six full-size grass fields.
The venue is also widely recognized as one of the premier track and field facilities in the Midwest, having played host to numerous regional, national, and international competitions. Korte Stadium has hosted several USATF events as well as a USA vs. Germany decathlon dual meet.
